Vacation in the Blizzard of 2003
I am not going to write an entire document on the Winter of 2002-2003, so now that Spring is finally beginning, let me just summarize the Winter, DAMN!!! More . . .

Cooper Family Holiday Bash 2002 in a Cabin
We decided to try something new this year for our Cooper Holiday get together. We are coming from all over the East Coast, me from Massachusetts, Mom and Dad from Philadelphia, Braad from Virginia Beach, and Durdie and Weej from Orlando. Every year these get-togethers get more and more complicated. We usually meet up in Lexington, KY where Mom and Dad own a house. However, I hate flying and refused to get on a plane, which shot the Lexington plan. More . . .

Windows 2000 Revalations
I upgraded from Windows 98 to Windows 2000 in late 2001, and I loved the operating system. However, it did not function with things I had become accustom to in Windows 98. One of my favorite games, The Sims would not load. Also, all of the Themes I had collected for Windows 98 would not load anymore. I became content with the concept that Sims and Themes just wouldn't work on Windows 2000. Recently, however, I has a revalation that made me realize that both the Sims and Themes work on Windows 2000.

The Sims: The was an easy one. Make sure you are logged in as "administrator" when you install it, and it runs fine.

Themes: There is no Themes tab in the Display properties any longer, but they are still there; hidden for some reason by Microsoft. To run themes, Click on Run and type in "Themes". There are no themes to select, but you can create your own and save them to wherever you like. Also, you may copy your Windows 98 themes with a .theme extension either to System/WinNt or even better, save a theme from the Themes screen to the location where all your themes are, and all of your old themes will be recognized.
